The church with Saint Nicholas as its patron, is the most valuable building in town; around it was formed the nucleus of Breaza de Sus village. It dates back to the Phanariots Age (1777) and its appearance is rustic, harmonious and completed by the atmosphere created due to the tall fir-trees in the court. Over all, the ensemble of the indoors fresco painting and the exterior decorations, as well as the shingles roof, fascinates anyone fond of old, good-taste art.
